Hi there, welcome to our journey

My name is Matt and my fiancé Lizzie and I are on the journey to financial freedom. The path may be long but we are going to follow a simple strategy and share our results and ideas with you on the way.

Here’s the strategy:

  1. Save an increasing amount of each paycheck and invest it.
  2. Learn and build skills so I can earn more.
  3. Search for strategies to reduce expences
  4. Post my progress

That leads to 3 major areas we’ll post about, Investing, skill building, and expense reduction.

With this simple process we’re looking to reach financial freedom by the time we’re 40, twelve years from the initial post.

We’ll continuously update you on our progress, and what we’re doing to make it possible for you to follow along.

Here are our starting stats:

  • Invested: $41615
  • Income after tax: $4757.42 ($57089 annually)
  • Spend per month: $3790 ($45480 annually)

No a bad place to be, but this is what we’re seeking to improve. Increasing that income and reducing those expenses to invest as much as possible.
